The AST datasheet names the SRX-CT23 as a replacement for the Teledyne B3, AII PSR-11-23 and GE OX3 sensors. Compare those references with the part number on the sensor now fitted and with the spare parts page of the analyzer manual. Send us the analyzer make and model and a photo of the old sensor, and we will check the match before quoting.
What oxygen range does the SRX-CT23 cover?
According to the manufacturer's datasheet it is a percent-range sensor measuring 0 to 100% oxygen, built as a galvanic micro fuel cell. It is not a trace sensor. If your analyzer measures ppm oxygen, tell us, because AST makes separate trace sensors and the correct model has to be selected from the analyzer data.
How should a replacement oxygen sensor be handled on arrival?
Keep it sealed in its original packaging until it is fitted, because a galvanic cell is consumed by exposure to oxygen. The datasheet gives an expected life of 15 months and recommends a storage period of 6 months at 5 to 35 °C.
