AppliTek TOPHO and related analyzers
The TOPHO datasheet describes automatic monitoring of total phosphorus in industrial and municipal wastewater and surface water. The sample is oxidized by a wet-chemical step so that all phosphorus compounds are measured, and the analyzer runs its own calibration, validation and cleaning cycles. One unit can be multiplexed over up to eight sampling points. A sister analyzer, NIPHO, measures total nitrogen and total phosphorus together.
Where AppliTek analyzers are used
AppliTek analyzers work on water, wastewater and industrial process streams. For GCC projects, send the analyzer model and serial number, the parameter and measuring range, the number of sample streams, and the sample conditions. For reagents, tubing or pump parts, a photo of the nameplate and the part label is enough to start.

What does the AppliTek TOPHO analyzer measure?
TOPHO is an on-line analyzer for total phosphorus in water and wastewater. According to its datasheet it oxidizes the sample with a wet-chemical method so that all phosphorus compounds are included in the result, and it performs automatic calibration, validation and cleaning. Typical sampling points are industrial and municipal wastewater streams and surface water.
Can one AppliTek TOPHO monitor more than one sample stream?
Yes. The TOPHO datasheet states that the analyzer can be multiplexed for up to eight sampling points. The number of streams is part of the configuration, so tell us how many streams your existing unit handles, or how many you need, together with the expected phosphorus range and the sample matrix for each stream.
How does an AppliTek TOPHO analyser measure total phosphorus?
It digests the sample to convert all phosphorus forms to orthophosphate, then measures it colorimetrically, giving an online total phosphorus value for wastewater discharge control.
