Description
The NRFC413MF111 is a Sauter Modbus RTU room thermostat for 2-pipe fan coil units. Installation and commissioning notes
- Mount on a 60 mm recessed box at 140 to 150 cm height and keep it away from heat sources, direct sun, draughts, room corners, curtains and shelving.
- Seal empty installation tubes; air flowing out of them causes false temperature readings.
- Wiring: mains and relay terminals take 1.0 to 1.5 mm²; signal terminals 0.14 to 1.5 mm²; protect the L supply with an external 5 A slow-blow fuse.
- Keep the RS-485 cable separate from live installation wiring; up to 32 NRFC4 devices can sit on one Modbus line.
- After commissioning allow up to one hour for thermal balance in the room before judging the reading.
- Not for safety applications, outdoor or condensing areas, or vibrating installations such as ships.
Applications in Gulf building services
