JUMO diraVIEW 132 Digital Panel Indicator Series

Description

Configurable DIN-format digital indicator with timer and limits

The JUMO diraVIEW data sheet 701510 covers five freely configurable digital indicators in DIN formats 132 (48 x 24 mm, type 701510), 116 (48 x 48 mm, 701511), 108H (48 x 96 mm, 701512), 108Q (96 x 48 mm, 701513) and 104 (96 x 96 mm, 701514). They display temperature, pressure and other process variables on two 18-segment LCD lines, and the three larger types add a pixel-matrix text display.

Every unit has a universal analog input, a digital input and a switchable digital input/output, with four limit-value functions, min/max memory, hold, taring for weighing, a timer and a service counter. Math and logic and a structured-text application are optional. Configuration is done on a PC through a USB interface that powers the device. The front has IP65 protection and the back IP20.

Choosing the format

The small 132 and 116 types suit tight panels and machine fronts, while the 108 and 104 types give larger digits and a text line for operator prompts. The digit height rises from 7.2 mm to 24.8 mm, so choose by viewing distance. As a derived example, a gauge read from 3 m needs the 104 format.

All types share the same input and function set, so one spare strategy can cover several panels. Customer-specific linearisation is available with 40 value pairs or a polynomial.

Order code and use

The code lists the type, the version (8 default settings, 9 customer-specific), the four option groups, and the supply. Options include a relay, logic output, RS485, analog output, Ethernet and a PhotoMOS relay, and some options apply to certain types only.

Typical uses are temperature and pressure display on machines, level or weight readouts with taring, and timer-based batching. Confirm the option combination, since certain inputs and outputs cannot be used at the same time, and check the approval needed for your project. For panels that are cleaned with water jets, remember that only the front is IP65, so the rear terminals must stay inside the cabinet.

This page uses the diraVIEW 132 as the lead type; ask in the quotation for the exact type among the five if you need a different format.

Documents and quotation

The manufacturer document (JUMO diraVIEW 104/108/116/132 data sheet 701510 (EN)) is attached to this page as a PDF. Send the complete type code or part number you need through the quotation form and we will reply with availability and delivery terms; please confirm the format, option codes and supply against the plant specification before ordering. About brand

Temperature measurement is the origin of JUMO, founded in 1948 in Fulda, Germany, as a maker of glass thermometers. Today the catalog covers sensors and transmitters for temperature, pressure, level and liquid analysis, plus controllers and recorders. Seven Star LLC lists JUMO RTD probes, pressure and differential pressure transmitters, pH, conductivity, turbidity and dissolved oxygen instruments, and sources them for plants in Oman.

JUMO product families listed

JUMO uses family names that recur across the catalog:

  • dTRANS: transmitters, including dTRANS T01 and T100 for temperature, dTRANS p02 DELTA for differential pressure, and dTRANS pH 02 and CR 02 for liquid analysis
  • Wtrans: wireless probes and transmitters, such as Wtrans T for RTD temperature and Wtrans p for pressure
  • digiLine and ecoLine: digital and optical analysis sensors, for example the digiLine O-DO S10 dissolved oxygen sensor and the ecoLine NTU turbidity sensor
  • NESOS: float-based level transmitters and switches
  • RTD temperature probes: screw-in types such as 902030 and mineral-insulated designs

Where JUMO sensors are used

JUMO sensors and transmitters are typical of food and beverage lines, water and wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical utilities, heating and cooling systems, and packaged machinery supplied to the GCC by European builders. Many requests are for a like-for-like replacement of a probe fitted by the machine maker, where length, thread and connector have to match exactly.

Ordering JUMO parts: what we need

JUMO identifies each product group by a six-digit type number, such as 902030, followed by an order code that fixes the options. The label of the delivered item normally carries a part number as well. Send whichever you have, ideally both, or a photo of the label. For JUMO temperature probes add insertion length, diameter, process connection, sensor type and wiring. For JUMO pressure sensors state range, output, process connection and electrical connector. For analysis sensors name the transmitter they connect to and the cable length.
