Brand:

Allweiler NI Series Inline Volute Casing Centrifugal Pump

Description

Inline volute casing pump for water, heating and fire duties

The Allweiler NI series is a single-entry, single or two-stage volute casing centrifugal pump of inline design, with pump size according to DIN EN 733. The shaft is sealed by a maintenance-free unbalanced mechanical seal with main dimensions to DIN EN 12756 design K, shape U. The stub shaft and motor shaft are rigidly coupled and the shaft bearing is in the motor, using grease-lubricated groove ball bearings.

Applications listed on the sell sheet are sea and fresh water, cooling and heating systems, circulation, supply and transfer, HVAC and fire. The hydraulics are those of the standard NT series, with very good efficiencies and NPSH values, and the volute casing can stay in the piping when the driving unit including impeller is dismantled.

Where the NI fits and where to check

The inline layout puts suction and discharge on one axis, which saves floor area in plant rooms and on vessels, and the negligible axial thrust, obtained by adapting the balancing holes, keeps bearing loads low. The two-stage sizes give larger delivery heads with the same outer dimensions as the single-stage pumps.

The sell sheet comes from the CIRCOR defense range and describes marine and navy motor options, so for industrial duty confirm the motor standard and the installation type with the manufacturer. Always give the pumped medium, its temperature, flow, head and supply voltage in an RFQ.

About brand

Allweiler has made pumps since 1860 and is based in Radolfzell, Germany. The name is closely tied to three-screw pumps for lubricating and fuel oils, next to centrifugal and progressing cavity pumps. Seven Star LLC lists the Allweiler TRILUB TRL screw pump and supplies Allweiler pumps and spare parts to power plants, marine operators and process plants in Oman as an independent supplier.

Allweiler TRILUB screw pumps

TRILUB is Allweiler's name for a family of three-screw pumps built for lubricating and hydraulic oil service. One driven screw meshes with two idler screws inside a liner and moves the oil axially with little pulsation, which suits lube oil circuits of turbines, compressors, gearboxes and diesel engines. The listed TRL V16-40R41 is a complete pump from this family. Buyers who search for Allweiler oil pumps are usually looking for this kind of unit, in the GCC as elsewhere.

Ordering Allweiler pumps and parts: what we need

Send the full type designation and the serial or order number from the nameplate. For a complete pump add the oil grade and viscosity, flow, discharge pressure, speed and motor data. For parts, name the item needed, such as the screw set, liner, mechanical seal or bearing.
