Measurement Principle

The VEGABAR 82 can be used universally for the measurement of gases, vapours, and liquids, with substances such as sand handled easily thanks to the abrasion-resistant ceramic measuring cell. The CERTEC measuring cell offers excellent long-term stability and high overload resistance, and is available with an integrated temperature sensor at the front of the measuring cell that both compensates for temperature shock and outputs the media temperature as an additional signal.

The simple connection of VEGABAR series 80 sensors as electronic differential pressure opens new possibilities for measuring differential pressures—the VEGABAR 82 can be combined with any other sensor of the VEGABAR Series 80 for this purpose.
