Stick (MMA) Welding Machines

Stick (MMA or SMAW) welding machines are the simplest and most rugged arc welding power sources, and they remain essential for site repair, structural erection, pipeline work and maintenance shutdowns across Oman and the GCC. They need no shielding gas, handle wind and dirty or rusty surfaces better than gas-shielded processes, and drive a wide range of electrodes from general-purpose E6013 to low-hydrogen E7018 and pipeline-grade cellulosic types.

Today most stick machines are inverters, which are light enough to carry on site, efficient on generator supply and offer arc-force and hot-start settings that improve starts and reduce sticking. Check the output current range, duty cycle, input voltage (single or three-phase), protection class for dusty or humid conditions, and whether the machine supports DC output for low-hydrogen and cellulosic rods.
