Aastra Technologies Limited was a Canadian telecommunications manufacturer specializing in enterprise communication systems, PBX platforms, VoIP phones and telephony expansion modules for business and industrial communication needs. The company provided digital and IP telephony solutions, unified communications platforms, network access products and modular boards used in enterprise telephone exchanges such as the MX-ONE system. Aastra was globally recognized for scalable communication infrastructure and terminals for corporate environments. In 2014, Aastra was merged into Mitel Networks Corporation, and its technologies have since been integrated and rebranded under the Mitel portfolio while maintaining legacy support for enterprise communication hardware.
